"...if you can dream it, you can do it..."
- Walt Disney
Fashion, food, adventures, and making the most of life - that's me summed up.
I go by two quotes in my life: the Walt Disney quote above and "...tomorrow is never a promise, so make the most of today..." - anonymous. I believe that life is too short to have regrets and if you want to do something no one or nothing should stop you.
French and Management BA student at the University of Reading, living the dream in Paris on my year abroad. After copious applications to French fashion and magazine companies, I'm working in PARIS in online marketing and fashion editorial for a luxury children's fashion company, Melijoe (the kids answer to Net-à-Porter) where I write the fashion editorials for the English speaking websites, emails and newsletters. I am a sporty individual - netball is my passion and without it I don't know what I'd do! I have a great interest in the fashion and the retail industry (obviously!), an industry in which I wish to further pursue my career after university. Summer '12 had me doing work experience with Arcadia at their head office in London, and had the most amazing time working within the ecommerce department. Before this I didn't really know what I wanted to do in life and now I feel that I have a really good idea. I worked on their blog which appeared on their website about Wallis clothing (The peplum dress & Monochrome see links) and this inspired me to write this blog during my time in France. I also LOVE to cook! Cakes, bakes, and everything savoury! I am a real foodie and I really appreciate the finer cuisines. I'm lucky enough to be half Lebanese which conveniently is my favorite cuisine - Mediterranean food...yum! But enough of my rambling! I hope to fill these pages with stories about my adventures and travels in France alongside fashion, la gastronomie, and any other bits and pieces I come across in life. I hope you enjoy reading my tales and adventures, please comment whether you agree with me or not I'd like to hear your opinions.
